Course: A mixture of mtb, 4wd and walking tracks, varying from easy flats to technical sections with steep elevation.

4km, 7km, 14km, 21km, 32km

The Karratha Trail Adventures is returning for 2024. Welcoming in two new distances of 4km and a gruelling 32km. The virtual races are also returning with 21km and 32km distances. After the initial turn out in 2023, this is an event that you don't want to miss!

 

With distances ranging from 4km through to 32km, we have a distance for those who are just getting into running, to those who really want to push their boundaries and challenge themselves. Bring the kids down and introduce them to trail running with the ages 10 and under Go Gecko 1km kids fun run, guaranteed to provide an exciting finish. 

 

Starting and finishing at the Karratha BMX Track, each distance will provide a variety of terrain. Run on a mix of mountain bike, 4wd and walking tracks, there will be sections that include hard pack trails, some softer red dirt and sand, technical running on rocks, steady and steep hills and everything in between. Amongst all of that you will be surrounded by the red Pilbara landscape, providing great views while you're running.
